Everybody in the One Direction fandom knows that the boys love to do charity work. So being the sweet man that he is, Louis “Tommo” Tomlinson decided take part in a charity soccer game at Glasgow’s Celtic Park last Sunday.
When on entering the arena and being announced, Louis, unfortunately, was welcomed with a large number of boos! How sad! But poor Louis was a real trooper and just brushed it off, he understands some people are not fond of him and just kept walking with a smile. That is real confidence right there!
Anyways, during the game Louis had been injured because of a tackle from professional football (soccer) player Gabriel Agbonlahor. He landed on the floor and lay there for a couple of seconds clutching his knee, but quickly got up and started to walk off the field. It seemed like Gabriel gave Louis a harsh tackle because Louis started to feel ill and start to vomit. This lit the fury of Directioners everywhere even more. Fans on Twitter started to send numerous threats to Agbonlahor.
He doesn’t seem like a bad guy; Agbonlahor told Sky News after the game, “It was one of those things. I’ll apologize to Louis when we meet up with everybody after the game. I know he enjoyed playing in the game and it’s fantastic that he took time out to be here and the same with everyone else who played.” See! Look at that sportsmanship and Louis did know there was a possibility of getting hurt and it was all for a good cause!
But what do you guys think? Do you forgive Gabriel’s blunder? Or will you be ranting on Twitter?
