Tony Lucca Talks His Upcoming Fall Tour

Fazleen Dean

Staff Writer

Tony Lucca has been up to a lot since we saw him last on The Voice. He recently released his new EP, With The Whole World Watching and toured all over the country giving his fans a piece of his music live. BFTV caught up with Lucca recently, where he talked about his last tour saying: “I spent the first part of the year in the studio working on the EP and waiting for that to come out. The tour kicked off back in August, and then we followed that up with [the] Honda Civic [Tour]." Lucca spent that time opening up for Kelly Clarkson and Maroon 5, which is fronted by his former Voice coach, Adam Levine. Now, he’s back at it again! Starting today in New York, Lucca is joining his friend, Brendan James, for a tour they like to call Key, Strings, and Band of Kings tour. It will be running through mid-November. Lucca says they are co-headlining each other in a way. He explained this saying, “We're kind of just going to turn it into one big show, as opposed to him opening for me and me opening for him. We largely have separate audiences, and instead of running that risk of one of us playing to the other's fans or not, we're just going to meld our show into one thing. “His band and my band are going to join forces," he continued. "He and I are going to share the front stage and tag team songs. Strip it down to him and his band, me and my band, just him, just me and build it back up. Make a production of it. An actual, proper, dynamic show." Now that is something you would definitely not want to miss. You can catch tour dates and tickets to these upcoming shows here.
