Taylor Swift is safe…at least for the next three years, thanks to a restraining order to keep her stalker 100 yards away from the singer and her parents.

Earlier this month, Swift got a temporary restraining order against a man named Timothy Sweet, who according to reports, believes that he is Swift’s husband.

The restraining order claims that Sweet has been harassing Swift since early 2011. During that time, he has sent a slew of letters, tweets, and more professing his love and even threatening to kill any man who stands in his way–this includes Secretary of State, John Kerry.

Thankfully Swift, and hopefully Secretary Kerry, are legally protected from Sweet, at least until 2017, when the restraining order will expire.
