True Detective has caused quite a fuss online for it’s upcoming second season. The news keeps coming and excitement is building, with a whole new story and brand-new casting on the way.

Therefore, Funny Or Die couldn’t possibly help teaming up with Kate Mara and Ellen Page for a parody of the show.

Stating that the web fans were not satisfied by the casting of True Detective‘s second season, the site claimed the creators started over and put together a completely different show. The one meant is none other but Tiny Detectives, a parody made especially for the cause. Starring House Of Cards‘ Kate Mara and Juno‘s Ellen Page, the video shows the struggle of not being tall enough for a job like this.

The two ladies are seen in action, along with interrogation scenes from the original series. They can’t reach a shelf on the wall and are afraid to use a ladder, miss the photo of a Yello King due to other people sitting in front of them and being caught in an effort to expose a group of drug dealers. The interrogation finds them discussing their fear of ladders, defending their sleeping in a shoe box, and failing to reach the guy on the other side of the table because of tiny hands.
