Fans of Eli Craig’s 2010 Canadian horror-comedy Tucker & Dale vs. Evil were in for a treat during a panel discussion at HorrorHound Weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio. Actors Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine made a surprise announcement during a Q&A with fans by confirming that a sequel is already in the works.
“We’re gonna make another one,” Tudyk blurted out during the Q&A session. Labine went on to say that they would never make a “shitty sequel,” promising that Tucker & Dale 2 will live up to the first film.
It’s been four years now since the movie was first released in 2010. Initially, at SXSW Tudyk denied any reports of a sequel, and he was corrected by a producer a few days later about the sequel. No release date, production date, or plot information is available at this time.
Tucker and Dale Vs Evil is available on Netflix instant.
