After a very long and successful 12 seasons, it’s time for Two And A Half Mento come to an end. Marking as one of the top-rated television sitcoms and definitely a fan-favorite, CBS has now gone and set a date for the series finale – February 19, 2015 it is.
It’s remarkable how Two And A Half Men has managed to stay relevant in terms of ratings for more than a decade. It was even the most-watched show on television all the way from 2005 to 2009. Not to mention how it managed to survive the departure of Charlie Sheen in 2011, who pretty much was the show up to that point. Despite not being the ratings-phenomenon it once used to be, the sitcom brings in satisfying numbers to this day and flopping is definitely not the reason for its closure.
It has yet to be revealed if Charlie Sheen will be making a comeback for the finale, since the situation is pretty much complicated at this point. Despite the actor’s intentions to do so, the producers are not quite keen on the idea and there’s lots of negative feelings between the two parties. In any case, Matthew Perry’s upcoming reboot of The Odd Couple is heading to replace Two And A Half Men on CBS, keeping things between roomates.
The 1-hour special series finale of Two And A Half Men will air on CBS, on February 19, at 9 p.m.
