Tyler Michell Raises Eyebrows And Followers As 'Teen Cumberbatch'

Sherlock is a British television crime drama which portrays a contemporary adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, a detective whose world and adventures were created by Arthur Conan Doyle. The series stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Doctor John Watson. Cumberbatch first became famous when he starred in Stephen Hawking’s biography, and since then has become even more successful in the film and television industry. That’s why British teenager Tyler Michell has gotten so many followers and has enjoyed his fifteen minutes (or more) of fame. Tyler Michell, 16, started taking a few selfies and posted on his Instagram, tagging them #cumberbatch #sherlock #holmes #batch etc. Because of the great similarity, he instantly gained a following, and has since been dubbed "Teen Cumberbatch." But fame is a double edged sword. His photos went quickly among Cumberbatch’s fans, but found some negativity from some of the on-screen detective's Chinese fanbase. In a post he has since deleted, he wrote “Chinese followers. Stop commenting on all my stuff.” It may be bad comments about him, but Tyler didn’t talk about it. The post caused an angry backlash. He has tried to deal with these comments while juggling his new fame. Nowadays, he has 12,000 followers in Instagram. Keep Up With PopWrapped On The Web!
