Universal Pictures have announced that Dracula: Year Zero will now be called Dracula Untold. This is the third name change that the Gary Shore movie has had. The film will revolve around the story of how a normal man became the most well known vampire in history. It will take us on the untold journey of his life before the fangs, crosses and holy water.
Luke Evans who will be playing the undead Count, recently said in an interview with Coming Soon.net “[Don’t think] of the Dracula that Bram Stoker created, the Dracula that I’m going to be portraying is the origin of Dracula. It’s about the man that became Dracula. Don’t be too quick to think he’s a bad guy. I’m just going to say that.”
The film will has an impressive cast including Samantha Barks, who starred as Eponine in Les Miserables, Icelandic star Thor Kristjansson, Game of Thrones actor Art Parkinson and Boardwalk Empire actor Charlie Cox. The film is currently in production in Belfast.
Dracula Untold will open at cinemas on October 3, 2014.
