Universal Studios Hollywood Is Decking The Halls This Holiday Season | Universal Studios Hollywood

Theme parks aren't just for summer vacation. Universal Studios Hollywood is gearing up for an exciting holiday season, and you won't want to miss the return of  “Grinchmas” with a "Who-lebration of fun fit for The Grinch, his faithful dog Max and a roster of Who-ville Whos". The Who-lebration includes a giant 60-foot tall Grinchmas tree that will make you feel like you've jumped into the movie.

Live performances by Martha May Who-vier and the Who Dolls will get you in the holiday spirit and transport you to their whimsical Christmas-loving town!  Universal Studios Hollywood has also announced that The Who-liday Singers—a hip boy-band ensemble—will perform a cappella concerts with a mix of both holiday tunes and pop-rock hits.

The “Grinchmas” festivities will take place on the weekends of December 2-3 and December 9-10, but will then run daily from December 15 through December 31. So whether you live near the park or are visiting Los Angeles for the holidays, you'll be sure to find a time that fits into your schedule.

The holiday celebrations aren't limited to Grinchmas though. in addition to the incredible light show at Hogwarts in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and transformation of Hogsmeade, Universal Studios Hollywood has also announced the following special attractions:

Spirited holiday décor and festive whimsy will permeate throughout the theme park including “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” and the adjoining “Super Silly Fun Land” as a crew of very merry and mischievous Minions gleefully spread Christmas cheer to visitors of all ages.

A spectacular 40-foot tall Christmas tree will glisten with 200,000 LED icicles choreographed to the lights and sounds of the season in the 5 Towers plaza. Santa Claus will make nightly appearances and offer special photo opportunities at 5 Towers.

The iconic, dancing water fountain situated at the heart of CityWalk will also make a splash this holiday season. This visually dynamic fountain, displaying over 230 individual power jets, will project streams of choreographed water into the air complemented by red and green LED lights and an array of holiday-themed music.

Free concert performances at “5 Towers” and an eclectic ensemble of talented street performers will make CityWalk the ultimate L.A. holiday destination.

Universal CityWalk is also getting a holiday make-over, which will start the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 24 and will last through Sunday, December 23, 2017.

The best part? All of the holiday events at Universal Studios Hollywood are included in the price of your theme park admission, and admission to Universal CityWalk is free!
