As strange as this sounds, I would probably still see it!!
With HBO staple show True Blood coming to an end this year following its 7th season, fans may not actually have to say goodbye to their favorite Bon Temps residents just yet.
Composer of the series, Nathan Barr, spoke to reporters upon arriving to the premier last night stating that he has spoken to former showrunner Alan Ball about transitioning the series into a musical!
“This was something that I pitched to HBO and (show creator) Alan Ball.”
Barr also said that IF the musical found its footing and moved forward, it would obviously revolve around Sookie Stackhouse, played in the series by Oscar winner Anna Paquin.
Considering how OFF THE RAILS the show has gone the past few seasons (don’t even TRY to disagree with me on that), it would be interesting to see how they could squeeze the books into a musical.
Would you guys go and see a True Blood musical???
