For all those that binged watched the second season of Orange is the New Black
, you may have silently applauded the demise of Vee at the end of the last episode. Vee truly made herself out to be the villain of Season 2, and was hated by all those that she had double crossed. BuzzFeed News reported that Netflix confirmed Lorraine Toussaint (Vee) would not be returning for season three of the hit show.
However, it appears that Lorraine Toussaint, who plays Vee’s character, began filming her scenes yesterday, October 28, in New York. She was spotted on the Queens set which is the houses Litchfield Penitentiary. Since then, rumors and speculations have made their way onto news feeds. Toussaint even told TMZ when asked if she was still on the show that “If I were to give that away they’d actually have to kill me, for real, again.” Then she added, “The devil don’t die so fast.”
It is unclear what her role will be. Fans know that there are quite a few flashbacks on the show, showing the women prior to their prison life, so she may be returning to the prison or she may appear in flashbacks. Or possibly, she could continue her villain role outside of the prison present day.
Toussaint is also starring in a new drama, “Forever” which debuted on ABC back in September. So she could very well only be returning for a few episodes, hence in flashback form.
