V/H/S Spinoff Will Feature Original Actress

The upcoming spinoff film of V/H/S titled “Siren” will feature the return of the actress from the original short horror installment called “Amateur Night”

If you are a fan of the horror genre you have most likely witnessed the horror that is known as V/H/S. The Sundance horror movie is a film comprised of six short films became a hit among horror lovers and two sequels followed, showcasing some stellar installments to the genre. One of the most memorable films was featured in the original V/H/S and is called “Amateur Night,” featuring a chilling story of a demonic young woman shaking up a bachelor party. The segment was received so well – there will officially be a separate movie centered on the woman/monster with Hannah Fierman reprising her eerie role. AICN first reported the news, stating that the film would feature her return, and that the movie is currently filming in Georgia with director Gregg Bishop tied to the film (Dance Of The Dead.)

The movie, titled Siren, will air on the Chiller Network which has featured original horror films (and re-runs of some classic series) will air sometime in 2016, and the specified plot details remain unknown as of now. The creator of the original short film V/H/S, David Bruckner, will serve as the film’s executive producer and the script was written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski. I for one am very hopeful to see what a full length film on this chilling character could entail and I’ll patiently await a trailer. My only request is that they make sure to not water it down for television, but either way this is potentially exciting news! Are you excited about Siren?
