Villains Emerge In New Gotham Season 2 Poster

With a premiere scheduled for September 21, Fox has now unveiled the very first, villain-filled poster for the second season of ‘Gotham’.

There is no denying that Gotham was one of the most successful comic book series adaptations that came out last year. With a second season of the Batman prequel currently on the way, Fox has now unveiled the very first poster for it and it’s filled with a bunch of bad guys and gals.

The newly revealed poster for the second season of Gotham, seen above, goes with the catchphrase “Rise Of The Villains”. Even though Penguin is the one taking center stage, it’s basically the two brand-new additions that catch the eye and steal the spotlight. The promotional photo serves as the very first look at the show’s Tigress (Jessica Lucas of Gracepoint fame) and Theo Galavan (Orphan Black’s very own James Frain). These two seem ready to twist things around and create further chaos across the town, so it seems like detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) will definitely be kept busy.

As teased before, the second season of the well-known show will emphasize on the bad ones. However, it has also been revealed that Gotham will introduce new heroes that will support the main characters. There is no denying that the show will be stepping up its game, as it will now have to face some competition in NBC’s freshman superhero drama Supergirl.

Gotham is scheduled to return to Fox on September 21.
