Trailer Premieres For 'The Walking Dead' Season 7 At SDCC | Walking Dead

It's that time of year again where we get little glimpses of things to come from our respective fandoms from SDCC.  The Walking Dead is no exception to this especially, after the season 6 finale and the introduction of Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan.  Season 6 left us with the biggest cliffhanger imaginable, as Negan slaughtered a member of our TWD family but we don't know who.  The trailer for season 7 has been released and it's time to talk about it and speculate.

The trailer starts with a montage of Negan making his decision with heartfelt moments from our characters' pasts.  This was a great way to get us in the feels while we wait to know their fates.  The trailer then shows us some of what's to come, but they very carefully hide all of our favorites in order to keep the mystery alive.  We see a lot of Negan and his daylight look, which is much less menacing.  We see Carol who seems to have lost her damn mind, and we get introduced to a new character who calls himself, King Ezekiel (Khary Payton).  Will his land be a real safe haven or is it yet another hell hole?  At the very end we see Tara who is fighting for her life.  The show will return on October 23rd!  Watch for yourself below.

Now, let's do a little speculating...  Who do you think Negan murdered in the season 6 finale of The Walking Dead?  According to Andrew Lincoln (Rick), we find out in the season premiere, so we won't be left wondering for too long.

Our money is on Glenn or Maggie for the time being.  We had some thoughts that it could be Daryl, but we just don't think they have it in them to kill off their biggest star.  However, it would be epic and brave for the show runners.  We have a feeling it might be Maggie though, because it seemed like her baby was already killing her anyway.  We'd be heartbroken over that loss.  We really hope it isn't Glenn because they played that card already.  What do you think?  Sound off in the comments and keep up with us for more news from SDCC!
