A Tennessee woman recently displayed big ideas but a very small brain during a robbery attempt at a K-mart location in Kingsport.

34-year-old Quashanda J. Wolfe attempted to steal a three-foot-tall glass case full of earrings by simply cutting the security cable, loading the case into a shopping cart and wheeling it out of the store. The case contained 37 pairs of earrings valued at $250 per pair.

Not surprisingly, Wolfe was stopped by security as she exited the front doors of the store.

Police were called to the scene and Wolfe was arrested and charged with vandalism and theft of property of over $1,000.

Before her decidedly un-Catwoman-esque escape attempt, Wolfe had allegedly been observed carrying a pair of wire cutters in the jewelry section.  Reports do not state why store authorities waited so long to intervene.

Wolfe reportedly told authorities she attempted the heist in order to re-sell the goods and buy “stuff” for her child.
