Harry Potter fans, you might want to hold onto your broomsticks for this one. More film spinoffs may be in the works.

Yes, spinoffs. Plural.

Everyone already knows that Warner Bros. has joined forces with J.K. Rowling to launch a new film series based on Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, the Harry Potter textbook released in 2001. Rowling will be writing the screenplay.

However, that’s not the only book that Warner Bros. has trademarked.

According to FirstShowing.net, the Quidditch Through the Ages handbook and The Tales of Beedle the Bard have been added to the list.

The former is fictional author Kennilworthy Whisp’s historical detailing of the wizard sport Quidditch, and the latter is a collection of fairytales written by Rowling and mentioned in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final book in that series.

Both books take place before Harry is born, but in the same world of magic he navigates throughout his life at Hogwarts.

Warner Bros. has also trademarked the Quidditch teams included in Through the Ages, as well as its author, Whisp.

Considering how much money the eight original Harry Potter films brought in across the world, it’s no surprise that Warner Bros. is looking to adapt every novel that’s related to it.

The franchise built up a dedicated fanbase that is already excited for Fantastic Beasts and the prospect of being immersed in the magic all over again, so these spinoffs will have a great foundation.

Will they be as popular as the beloved HP? We’ll see!
