PopWrapped caught up with Jordan from The Ready Set at VANS Warped Tour 2014. Read below to see what he has to say about the tour, new song releases, and The Ready Set’s latest album – The Bad and the Better.

Zachary Jaydon: There are 5 show days left, talk to me about Warped Tour 2014.

Jordan Mark Witzigreuter: It’s been awesome so far. It’s been exceeding my expectations. We did the tour in 2011 and it was cool but this time it’s been substantially better, it’s been a blast all around. We have tons of friends out on the tour and it’s just a good time all around.

ZJ: What’s next for you after Warped Tour?

JW: After Warped Tour we’re going on [a headlining] tour in the fall, putting out a couple of music videos before that…

ZJ: Do you have any new music?

JW: We have a new song coming out at the end of August.

ZJ: Are you excited about that?

JW: Yeah. Definitely… we’re just putting out a couple of side things for fun. I just put out a new album two months ago, so I’m just trying to keep as much new content coming out as possible.

ZJ: What’s the most memorable thing that happened on the tour this year?

JW: … I think as far as shows go, I think Long Island has been the best, the crowd had the most amazing reaction, so that’s probably been my favorite.

ZJ: What’s it like to hear and see something that you’ve worked so hard on [“Love Like Woe”] come to life for so many people?

JW: It’s amazing… it’s a really humbling thing. I’m really thankful to have the opportunity to reach that many people.

ZJ: Do you have any idea who will be joining you on tour this fall?

JW: Yeah, we can’t announce it until after Warped Tour ends, but it’s gonna be a big [announcement].

ZJ: Is there anything that you want to tell your fans?

JW: Thanks a lot for checking out the music. If you haven’t, check out the new album, it’s called The Bad and the Better… and I hope to see you this fall.
