Kristen Wiig’s upcoming dramedy, Welcome to Me, continues to add big-name talent to the cast. The Hollywood Reporter states that Joan Cusack and Wes Bentley have signed on to join the Bridesmaids and Despicable Me 2 star in her new film.
Wiig plays a woman who suffers from dissociative personality disorder and shows how her life is forever changed when she wins the lottery and uses her winnings on a cable access talk show all about her disorder. Welcome to Me aims to show how society is addicted to fame.
But Cusack and Bentley are not the only actors that have signed on board for this project. Digital Spy reports that Linda Cardellini, Jennifer Jason Leigh, James Marsden, Tim Robbins and Alan Tudyk currently round out the casting ensemble.
Production for Welcome to Me started this week. There has been no announcement of a release date.
