“When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die, there is no middle ground”…so says highly-reviled character Cersei Lannister in the first season of Game of Thrones.

The game of football, (or soccer, as it is called in a few nations) on the other hand, may not be as deadly. But it does move world events, and it is just as political. Two nations did go to a full scale war due to a football game once. I’m not joking. Look it up.

So what happens when a game beloved by over seven continents meets a fictional political game between noble houses over seven kingdoms?

Spanish fashion designer Nerea Palacios may have just brought us the answer. And it comes in mock football jerseys for each of the major houses of Westeros. These football kits may just make your World Cup experience even better. Whether you are rooting for House Stark or roaring for their primary rival, House Lannister. It seems nice to imagine that you can support your favorite noble family without worrying that the players may end up getting massacred in a wedding or choking on pie.
