The dream run of Glee guest stars for season five is seemingly never ending. We’ve already had Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert, and Bryce Ross-Johnson. Now we have another major musical star set to grace the halls of McKinley.
Earlier today Darren Criss posted a picture on Instagram of himself, Chord Overstreet and Pitch Perfect’s Skylar Astin. The caption read: “Me, @ChordOverstreet & @SkylarAstin… And a #DramaticSelfie for you all. So glad to have our buddy Skylar on #Glee”.

ETOnline has received confirmation from Astin’s representatives that the star will be appearing on an upcoming Glee episode as well as the news that it “looks like his character is strictly Ohio-based”. There’s no word on which episode he will make his debut or how many episodes he will appear in.
Glee returns from its winter hiatus on a new night, Tuesdays from February 25, 2014.
