Ordinary Police Officer John Cale (Tatum) has just been denied his dream job of joining the Secret Service. Not wanting to disappoint his daughter (who he takes along for the interview), he decides to take her on a tour of the White House, and suddenly the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed group of paramilitary invaders. While trying to reach his daughter, Cale finds the president (Foxx) being held by the invaders and succeeds in getting the President out of immediate danger. With the nation’s government falling into chaos it’s now up to Cale to save The president, his daughter, and the country.

Written by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man) and Directed by Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow), starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, White House Down opens across the U.S. on June 28.
