Greetings, readers! Your fashion gurus are back to recap the hot and cold fashion from last night’s People Choice Awards. We had inappropriate floral gowns (hello, the country is literally a popsicle!), ton of saggy cleavage, and white galore. I’ve invited my colleague Ben Patton to sound off on last night’s fashion again, as well. As we disagree on a few looks this go around, it should prove to be an interesting contrast. Are you ready? Let’s go! Worst Anna Faris:

Dani: Anna, I like you. I really do. But you need to step up your game, and I dunno, maybe hire a stylist? You’re a mess. This sparkly jumpsuit looks like something Jennifer Lopez wore in Selena. No bueno. Ben: And I repeat; no bueno. Drew Barrymore:

Dani: Drew, you are one of Hollywood’s darlings; the original quirky girl. And, while I understand that you are with child and therefore unable to wear the typical red carpet gown, you certainly could have done better than this. I can’t decide if this is like a hula skirt, or just some sort of garment bag? Either way, it’s doing you no favors; though your hair and makeup are flawless. Check out Jenna Dewan Tatum or Kristin Bell for some truly stunning maternity looks. They nailed it. Ben: Drew, this wasn’t nearly as catastrophic as your green Gucci disaster from the ’06 Golden Globes, but it was equally as disappointing. You are beautiful, but it was completely lost in this major miss. Kaley Cuoco:

Dani: Um, what? I don’t really understand what this is all about. From the waist up, she looks beautiful…but then that weird, doily like skirt. It looks like the skirt of one of those tremendously creepy dolls that my grandma used to cover up her extra toilet paper with. Fail. Ben: Kaley, Kaley, Kaley…I expected so much more from you. With a hit show and fresh off your wedding I really thought you’d be at the top of your game. The doily, cutout skirt and those shoes…the shoes…I mean the shoes with that skirt! No. Malin Akerman:

Dani: This dress just leaves me a bit baffled. I like the design, and those shoes are killer. But that strange cut out in the bust is awkward, and makes her look unflatteringly saggy. Also, how was there no nip-slip? I’ll give her points for some seriously good security with those bosoms, but that’s all the generosity I’m willing to offer for this look Ben: If you were going for the T-Top Camaro look on your bosoms it worked, however the look was a total wreck. Naya Rivera:

Dani: I know, I know. Slamming Naya is not the PopWrapped way, but come on. When is this long back hem trend going to die?! I cannot handle it. That back hem, for me, ruins the whole look; which would have been fierce and fabulous if they would have just cut the whole thing at the knees like the front. I’m also not loving the lighter locks on her. All in all, not her best look; not even close. Ben: Though I completely agree with Dani on the lighter, Kim Kardashian style locks, I do actually like this look on her. The modern cut of this dress flatters her body and though it’s not one of her sexiest red carpet looks, I think it’s still solid. Dishonorable Mentions

Dani: Heidi Klum, Melissa Joan Hart, Sara Bareilles and Justin Timberlake win the dishonorable mentions this week. Melissa: it’s winter, lose the floral print. Heidi: you’re supposed to be a fashion icon; start acting like one. Sara: your dress is stupid, but I must say that I kind of love your lip shoes. Justin: you’re not Johnny Cash. Lose the monochromatic look. Ben: Heidi, other than the messy up do, the constant need to reveal your cleavage is baffling. Melissa should have let Joey pick out her clothes for the event. Sarah and Justin were just boring...put forth at least a little effort guys. Worst Dressed Of The Night: Dani: I’m going to have to give this one to Ms. Faris. I just cannot get past that dated, sparkly ridiculous jumpsuit. Please, make it stop. Ben: Sadly I’m going to have to go with Kaley! It breaks my heart, but those shoes! With that skirt! No. Best Allison Janney:

Dani: Holy hot tamales! Allison looks incredible. And not for her age; she just straight up looks goooood. That dress, those shoes, that hair and makeup. She is flawless. I have no critiques! Ben: Janney really was flawless in her LBD and simple accessories. She dressed appropriately for her age, with just enough sexiness to make this look one of the best of the night by far. Allison Williams:

Dani: Apparently it was a really good night for women named Allison. I am OBSESSED with this dress. It is young and fresh and oh-so-flattering. And those shoes? Forget about it. She looks impeccable. Ben: Allison’s geometric dress was definitely a winner. The cobalt blue and white, with those killer heels…she nailed it. Jessica Alba:

Dani: Oh Jessica. You are a vision. While I’m not completely onboard with the white-on-white dress and shoes, you’re just so incredibly beautiful that something as inconsequential as being matchy-matchy seems moot. You are a golden goddess, and I wish you would give some of your styling tips to your colleagues. Ben: Jessica tends to be hit or miss on the red carpet, but I can agree she was one of the better dressed of the evening. Though I can’t say I was a super fan of the lace-up sides and zippered front; she still rocked it and looked stunning. Lucy Hale:

Dani: I was actually kind of surprised by how much I loved this look on the gorgeous Hale. It is young and simple, and, while the hem kind of cuts her legs off and the shoes are a bit clunky, I think she looks beautiful. I love the colors in her dress, and they contrast perfectly with her dark hair and eyes. Ben: I have to say, Lucy could have just as easily been in the worst dressed for me, but as the pickens were slim, I think she pulled ahead of some of the slackers this time around. I didn’t hate the print, but I was not a fan of the cut or her choice of footwear. I would have liked to see a sexier pump; and maybe a little more imagination with her hair and makeup. Queen Latifah:

Dani: All bow to the Queen! She looks incredible. From the dress to those sexy shoes, and her sleek hair and glowing skin; I like this look from top to bottom. You are beautiful, Your Majesty. Ben: Queen Latifah looked radiant in a very appropriate selection for the People’s Choice Awards. I think she pulled it off and looked amazing. Honorable Mentions:

Dani: Oh hello, boys. This week’s honorable mention goes to the devilishly handsome Ian Somerhalder and Josh Holloway. I could not be more thrilled that Sawyer is back on my television screen, and his return appearance at the People’s Choice Awards was certainly a successful one. Yum! Ben: It’s tough for the men on the red carpet…there’s really only so much you can do. Ian Somerhalder was as dashing as ever, I agree. Best Dressed Of The Night: Dani: I’m giving it to Allison Williams. Seriously, I just can’t move past that dress! Get it, girl. Ben: I’m going to have to agree with Dani. The cobalt blue popped perfectly with her skin and she definitely was on her A-game. That’s it for us, PopWrappers!
