Everyone's favorite group of four is coming back according to NBC. Will, Grace, Karen and Jack will grace us with 10 new episode slated for July, and we could not be more excited! This news is according to Leslie Jordan, who played a recurring character on the show and who revealed it on a recent radio interview.
The show made a small return during the political race of 2016, and it was received with open arms and rave reviews. After the short clip was released, everyone began hoping and praying for a revival to happen. And, according to TVLine, talks started as far back as October between NBC, series creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, and stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes.
This is great news for fans of Will & Grace! The revival also brings out an important chance for streaming services to monopolize on the show's momentum. Currently, the show is only available on DVD, but, if Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime could get the rights to the series, then fans would have a chance to rewatch or discover the show for the first time before the revival airs. We believe Netflix had huge success by having the entirety of the Gilmore Girls available for fans to enjoy over and over again as they prepped for the return to Stars Hollow.
Fans are beyond excited about the show's return. Check out these Tweets!
All I want for Christmas is for Will & Grace to be put on @netflix— Miranda Barbot (@MirandaBarbot) December 24, 2016
Fans may be thrilled, but, according to Debra Messing, this may be just a pipe dream as of yet. She released a tweet stating that they are still just in the talk phase. Take a look.
Sadly Leslie was wrong. Nothing beyond talks. https://t.co/NDmKoH2Iql— Debra Messing (@DebraMessing) January 2, 2017
Keep up with PopWrapped for more up-to-date news on this story. We're hoping Messing is just downplaying it because July is too soon and not because this isn't really happening. What do you guys think?
