Woo-ooh! Ducktales Will Return To Our TVs In 2017

Ducktales is coming back to your TV in 2017 and the excitement we are experiencing about this is colossal!

Remember Ducktales? That beloved animated series about a billionaire duck and his three nephews that enamored children from all over the world during its 1987-1990 run and beyond?

Well there is good news! Fans of the series, who grew up with it will now be able to share a piece of their childhood with kids of their own! Disney has decided to bring back the series, in a brand new reboot, that is slated to air in 2017.

The new series will bring back the original staple characters. Scrooge McDuck, the eccentric billionaire who keeps a large part of his fortune in the form of gold coins kept in a high security building, along with his three mischievous grandnephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie.

Disney icon Donald Duck will be making an appearance as Scrooge’s nephew. In the original series, he was the one who left the three boys behind because he couldn’t take care of them due to the fact he had to join the navy.

Other characters from the original series who are slated to return would include Scrooge’s pilot Launchpad McQuack, the butler Duckworth, the inventor Gyro Gearloose, and the nanny of the three boys, Mrs. Beakley.

Villains such as the witch Magicka de Spell and Scrooge’s rival Flintheart Glomgold will also appear.

Let us hope though, that they keep the original theme tune that we all know and love. Ducktales, Woo-oo!!
