World Premiere: Lady Gaga Debuts Official Music Video For “Applause”

After a slew of leaked songs that forced her to release her brand new single “Applause” a week early, Lady Gaga has been in a battle with Katy Perry and Ellie Goulding for the number one spots in American and across the pond.

This morning Gaga premiered her music video for “Applause” on Good Morning American and Vevo and says with this video she wants to “start over.” Yesterday, in a series of tweets from the star, she revealed her excitement for the video and to be able to share it with her fans.

“MY 1ST MUSIC VIDEO IN 2 YRS PREMIERES IN LESS THAN 26 HRS ON @GMA AND VEVO!” Gaga tweeted yesterday (August 18). “A fashion, pop, performance art fantasia.

“OK lets start over! I’m so excited to see u at the premiere of my video @gma in 8 hrs!” she added later on. “I am grateful to share this new experience with you!

“I’ve thought of u fans every moment since the last BTWBall & dreamt everyday how I could make it up to u. Only w your happiness comes mine.”

Gaga concluded: “I know this sounds weird but, I can’t believe I’m gonna be on TV today for an interview! It’s been so long, I can’t wait to see your smiles!”
