Looking for a great cover of a 90s theme song? OF COURSE YOU ARE! Luckily, our good friends over at Postmodern Jukebox have added a new segment to their usual jazz-club-big-band-esque covers: Saturday Morning Slow Jams. #GENIUS
This past weekend’s entry is a rendition of the seminal classic Disney cartoon, DuckTales. Following last week’s premiere of the Pokemon theme, this cover gets sexy and funky with the luscious vocals of POW!GRL and accompanying R&B band grooves. One could image Scrooge McDuck, sitting back in his manse and listening to some Jill Scott after this song finished soothing his soul.
