#YouTubeTuesday is where we highlight unknown (but EPIC) videos on the web which will make your life a little bit better having watched them.
Most people involved in social media a couple of years back should be aware of the inspiring tragedy that was the life and times of Zach Sobiech. Affected by osteosarcoma, Zach died at his home in Lakeland, Minnesota at just 18 years old.
It's what he did with his life before being taken away at such an early age though that made him so special. Zach dared to live past the pain and live every day to the fullest, inspiring millions of people across the country with his song "Clouds".
"Clouds" went on to become an iTunes #1 chart-topper, and was even covered by thousands of people during a Christmas event at the Mall of America in a video that went viral in 2013.
Flash forward to mid-2014. As it turns out, Rainn Wilson's SoulPancake documentation of Zach's life is being played in some high schools as an inspiring presentation for students to learn from and appreciate. One of those students was Emma Robinson, a YouTube-based music artist who has a unique vocal gift. Plenty mistake it for auto-tune, but actually the warble in her voice comes naturally, and is an advanced form of yodeling called "side-yodeling" which known for its intrinsic attitude.
Emma now joins the millions of people now from around the world that have been inspired by Zach's story and song. And of course, she does so with a cover of "Clouds".
