Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa has been speculated to play the role of the Justice League member Aquaman, and while it has yet to be confirmed by Warner Bros, a recent radio interview with Batman V Superman and upcoming Justice League director Zack Snyder may have dropped some interesting tidbits on the character.

“I don’t want to give anything away about the movie but Aquaman has some cool abilities,” Snyder tells a Detroit radio station, “People are like, ‘Oh, what? Does he talk to animals? Cause that seems like what he does. Or fish?’ The cool thing with Aquaman is his Triton, so you have to realize that could cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact.”

Snyder adds, “He’s super strong because, of course, he can exist at these super deep depths so when he comes up here he’s crazy strong. Not to say he’s in my movie or anything like that. But he has the potential to be bad ass, that’s all I’m saying.”

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is currently filming and with definite appearances from Wonder Woman and Cyborg it’s safe to assume the aquatic bound character will appear in some capacity to help fill the Justice League roster. And hopefully it will become it’s own film in the near future.

Are you an Aquaman fan? Or do you think he’s not the right fit for a live action adaptation?
