Have you been spending the past fourteen years pining for a movie like 10 Things I Hate About You to come around? If so, I’m sorry.
There is something to look forward to! A spinoff movie has just been confirmed!
The movie will be called 10 Things I Hate About Life, and will be about two young people who meet just as they were both about to commit suicide, falling in love with each other instead. It sounds dark, but it’s promised to share the comical sensibility of 10 Things I Hate About You.
Thomas McDonnel, who has been in Twelve, Fun Size, Prom, and Forgotten Kingdom, will play the lead opposite Evan Rachel Wood. No word yet on whether or not this film will also be based on a Shakespeare play.
The film is set to come out next year.
