The Boston Celtics were lucky enough to come away with the No. 1 pick in the draft, but the team opted to trade the pick to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for the No. 3 pick and a future first rounder. This is the second year in a row that the Sixers have the No. 1 pick. Earlier this week, the Sixers announced that they planned to draft Markelle Fultz with the No. 1 pick and did so.
