Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott has said, “I should’ve been psyched” when he spoke about his role on the popular show Boy Meets World.

The actor, who played bully Griff Hawkins in several of the episodes back in 1995, said that he never thought the show would go on for so long. “At the time, it was on Friday nights at 8pm. So no one I knew even knew what it was. It was for kids,” he said to TV Line.

He added, “So, it was a thrill to be on a TV show briefly, but it was not like I ever got recognised for it… if I had known then that in 20 years (the show would be beloved), I probably would have been more psyched about it”.

Recently, the Disney Channel has commissioned a spin-off of Boy Meets World. The show will focus on the daughter of Cory and Topanga Matthews (Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel).

As well as Savage and Fishel reprising their roles in the spin-off, William Daniels is set to return as Principal Feeny.
