Alicia Keys has been very public about the joy of her second pregnancy throughout the year. One could only imagine how happy she and husband, Swizz Beatz, are now that they have welcomedtheir second child to the world!
Even though the songstress was expected to give birth to her baby on New Year’s Eve, December 31, the newborn arrived a few days earlier, on December 27. Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz welcomed their second son on 1:52 a.m. with a weight of 6 pounds, 5 ounces. The “No One” star got personal on instagram, by sharing a photo of her newborn son’s footsteps, along with his name. The accompanying caption couldn’t hide her happiness and excitement over the new family member either, revealing their joy and greatfulness.
Alicia Keys got married to music producer Swizz Beatz back in late summer 2010. The two were quick to become parents, as their first son, Egypt, only arrived a couple of months later. Well, we suppose he’s really happy too for the arrival of his new brother. Congratulations to them!
