Lily and Marshall haven’t even shared their last kiss yet and already Alyson Hannigan is already making plans to shack up with her next husband – Tom Papa. Tom Papa is also the writer/creator of the show, More Time With The Family, which is about a husband who changes careers in order to spend more time with his wife and kids. Alyson will play wife Cindy to Tom Papa’s character.
The pilot episode was co-written by Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldman. There are also some big names serving as executive producers – Ben Affleck and Matt Damon!
The show, which is based on Papa’s stand-up comedy and Damon’s real-life experiences, was given a ‘put pilot’ order. A put pilot order increases the chances that a network will actually pick up a show since they will have penalties if they don’t.
