Angelina Jolie is expected to make her first public appearance following her announcement that she had chosen to have a preventative double mastectomy. Jolie chose to undergo the elective surgery after discovering that she was a carrier of the BRCA1 gene, which meant she was at a high risk of developing breast cancer – the disease that killed her mother, and recently killed her aunt.

The 37 year old is expected to be supporting fiancé Brad Pitt at the London premiere of World War Z on June 2 in Leicester Square.  The film, which stars Pitt as a UN employee who joins an army to try to prevent yet another zombie apocalypse, was partially filmed here in London.

The reappearance of Angelina is not the only excitement at the premiere – British rock royalty Muse will also be performing an exclusive sold out concert at nearby Royal Horseguards Parade after the premiere in the West End.
