Rocker trio Animal Years are preparing for two huge night of music at Lincoln Center and Rockwood Music Hall for Downtown Comes Uptown in NYC.

As the summer festival season slowly draws to a close, later this month WFUV and Rockwood Music Hall in New York City are playing host to one of the most hotly-anticipated music events this year – the latest installment of “Downtown Comes Uptown.” On the bill are Morningsiders, Michael Daves, Kate Davis, and Animal Years.

Formed in 2012, Animal Years have since gone on to receive praise from the likes of American Songwriter, The Huffington Post, and The Music Ninja, to name but a few.

Now, fresh off the back of recently covering “The Wire” by HAIM, Animal Years will take the stage at Lincoln Center’s David Rubenstein Atrium on August 27. The following night, they’ll do it all again at Rockwood Music Hall.

The event at Lincoln Center is free, while tickets for Rockwood are $15.

Their debut album Sun Will Rise is out now and available on iTunes.
