This year, Queen’s classic Bohemian Rhapsody turns 40 years old. What better way to honor the song than with a beautifully choreographed performance by The English National Ballet (ENB). Yes, we said ballet. And if you’re skeptical as to whether ballet could be set to the Queen anthem, think again.

The dance was choreographed ENB soloist James Streeter and performed by ENB Lead Principal Erina Takahashi and ENB First Soloist James Forbat.

In an interview with ELLE, Takahashi discussed the dance, saying “The music gives me that energy and so that power comes naturally.”

“Bohemian Rhapsody means a lot to me,” said Streeter. “I guess it was the start of my dancing career. To be asked to choreograph it was amazing.”
