Who is Belle exactly?”

What’s her story?”

Where’s her mother?”

Well, you’re about to find out in Once Upon a Time’s upcoming season.

Executive producer Adam Horowitz tells Entertainment Weekly,We are going to meet Belle’s mother. For the first time, we’ll delve into Belle’s past pre-the encounter with Rumple.”

That means Belle, one of the beloved characters of OUAT, will finally have her chance to shine as we get to discover her past and what made her into the Belle we love.

The question is… who should play Belle’s mom?

A favorite from EW (and mine) is Xena: Warrior Princess alum, Lucy Lawless. Not only does she look similar to Emilie de Ravin, but she will be starring on a popular ABC series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Isabelle Hartley. In addition, Lawless is also a mother to three children.

Who do you think should play as Belle’s mother?

Once Upon a Time will return on September 28 at 8 P.M. ET on ABC.
