Who would have thought that these two awesome guys would ever have a reason to go head to head. This week, on an all new episode of The Big Bang Theory Bob Newhart will make his return to the series, but in a funny twist, Bill Nye The Science Guy will be joining him!
Bill Nye will make his feature debut in the hit comedy series when he becomes friend with Sheldon, while Professor Proton (Newhart) decides to ask Leonard for help with an experiment.
When Sheldon reveals that he has in fact replaced his childhood role model for that of someone younger, Professor Proton becomes threatened and says “Back off bowtie!”
Bob Newhart won his very first Emmy for his role on the comedy series, and told the Hollywood Reporter that he was in talks with the producers about filming two more episodes.
