The body of legendary radio host, Casey Kasem, who passed away on June 15, has disappeared. A representative of the family told ABC News how Kasem’s children discovered that their father’s body went missing from a Gaffney Funeral Home in Tacoma, Washington.
No one, including Kasem’s children, know where the body was taken or by whom. But while they are unsure who did the deed, a family rep pointed to the late host’s widow, Jean Kasem. The sibling’s feud with the widow came to light back in May when Kasem first disappeared.
Since then, the courts have gotten involved. On Wednesday, a judge issued a ban against Jean Kasem. This ban prevents her from moving or cremating her late husband’s body. The children had asked for an autopsy of their father’s body, and the court’s ban against Jean was supposed to buy them some time while the courts deliberated.
