Carlos Pena from Big Time Rush announced last night via Twitter that today he is marrying Alexa Vega of Spy Kids fame.
She recently gushed about her engagement to E!Online.
“He’s pretty incredible that one,” Vega is quoted. “I’ve never met anybody who is as driven and as motivated and inspires me as much as Carlos does.”
The pair have been enjoying their vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where they celebrated the New Year. James Maslow, also from Big Time Rush, tweeted his status as a groomsman. No word as of yet on whether the remaining members of BTR, Logan Henderson and Kendall Schmidt, will be in attendance.
The boys of BTR were a support team for Carlos before he proposed, so there’s no question that the four bandmates are still tight.
Kendall tweeted a picture with his brothers Kevin and Kenneth on New Year’s Eve, which hints that they were in Kansas just two days ago. Logan was partying with the VegaPena bunch at a Clippers game over Christmas and two days later with their extended families, including Carlos’s brothers Antonio and Javi, Alexa’s sisters Krizia and Mackenzie, and Logan’s sister, Presley.
