Obviously, this is a spinoff from CBS’ well-established NCIS franchise. It’s the second spinoff so far, with the first being NCIS: LA. Its pilot garnered steady ratings, with just over 17 million viewers tuning in. It stars Scott Bakula, and will be executive produced by Mark Harmon and Gary Glasberhg, who also wrote the script.

Stalker
Kevin Williamson, who is also the brain behind The Following and The Vampire Diaries, wrote this latest thriller about detectives who investigate stalking cases in the LAPD. Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q will play said detectives.
3. Scorpion
Walter O’Brien, founder of Scorpion Computer Services, inspired this show’s storyline. He’s a computer genius, and has one of the world’s highest IQs. Nick Santora (known for Prison Break) wrote the script and will also executive produce. Other notable executive producers include well-known music manager Scooter Braun and O’Brien himself. Katharine McPhee and Elyes Gabel will star.

This political drama centers around Tea Leoni’s character, a Secretary of State. Homeland‘s Barbara Hall will executive produce with Morgan Freeman, Lori McCreary, and Tracy Mercer.
5. The Odd Couple
Matthew Perry, known best for his role on long-running series Friends, wrote and executive produced this remake with Frasier‘s John Keenan. He costars alongside Thomas Lennon. Desperate Housewives‘ Bob Daily will head the project.
6. The McCarthys
Joey McIntyre, Jack McGee, and Laurie Metcalf star in this family comedy about a rowdy, sports-oriented family living in Boston. Will Gluck, Richie Schwartz, and Mike Sikowitz will all executive produce with script-writer Brian Gallivan.
