Connor Franta is no stranger to sharing his life on the internet. His YouTube channel alone has over 5.6 million subscribers. However, this YouTube star and New York Times best-selling author has been keeping something secret.
A new video he released on Tuesday revealed that Franta is coming out with his second memoir. His second book is entitled Note To Self.
Connor told People, “I’ve been working on this book in secret for over a year now and I genuinely could not be happier with the end result. From the interiors to the exteriors, it’s the work of art I dreamt of now turned material. I hope its many facets will captivate readers and leave a lasting impression on every one of them.”
In the video, which was written and produced by Franta and includes music and cinematography by Tim Kellner, we see a totally different side of Franta. He says that sometimes he can “feel broken.”

Just by the trailer, you can tell that Franta is doing this for himself. We read in his first memoir, A Work In Progress, how he was raised. Now, with Note To Self, fans will get to understand Franta on a more personal level.
In his video, he states, “It could be from my breakup, it could just be from myself, my work, my mental health.” He later goes a little deeper, “I’m in the business of public disclosure and yet I keep so much to myself … I’m edited, curated, calculated … I think it’s time for me to share what’s on the inside. If my first book, A Work In Progress, was a reflection of my external life so far, then this follow-up is a reflection of my internal life.”
