With a whirlwind of controversy surrounding racial comments and a slew of dropped endorsement deals; nobody is happier to see June fade into the past as disgraced celebrity chef, Paula Deen.

Paula has been dropped by The Food Network, QVC, Target, Walmart and others after an investigation into a lawsuit filed against the chef revealed she used the “N” word.

Digital Spy reports, “when asked if she had ever used the N-word, Deen replied: “Yes, of course. It’s just what they are – they’re jokes… most jokes are about Jewish people, rednecks, black folk… I can’t determine what offends another person.”

All is not lost, however, as Paula has been approached for a second time by the producers of Dancing with the Stars to appear on their upcoming 17th series. The chef turned down an offer in 2010 to join the cast of DWTS being quoted as saying, “Fat girls don’t look good sweating.”

The chef has since lost some weight, but in light of her recent struggles in the media will she accept the offer and try to lace a silver lining around all her negative press? Casting confirmations have not been announced, but time will tell.
