Opposites attract as the Disney Channel releases its first trailer for its upcoming zombie/cheerleader movie musical, appropriately titled 'Zombies'.

In the romance genre, few tropes are more classic than ‘opposites attract,’ and Disney has made a killing off of it—just look at how successful the High School Musical series was.

Well, in hopes of cashing in on a good girl falling for a guy from the opposite side of the tracks—or in this case, maybe the cemetery? —the Disney Channel is releasing a brand-new movie musical, called Zombies.

Zombies will focus on a group of undead students enrolling in a preppy school called Seabrook High after shock therapy allows them to walk amongst the living without the pesky need to…you know…eat them. But those aren’t the only sparks flying as zombie and leading man Zed falls for cheerleader Addison. The two—along with the school as a whole—must learn to get over their preconceived notions of each other, and the film aims to teach the feel-good message of accepting others and love conquering all.

A trailer was released over on Entertainment Weekly, which you can watch below:

The film will debut on February 16th at 8 PM. Zombies stars Meg Donnelly (American Housewife) as Addison and Milo Manheim (Ghost Whisperer) as Zed.
