The TARDIS is coming to Amazon Prime! The BBC and Amazon have agreed to stream Doctor Who until the rumored new iPlayer goes live.

Our madman in a blue box is back! Doctor Who is set to return for our streaming pleasure in just a few short weeks — only this time it will be solely on Amazon Prime, s

o cozy on up to someone with a paid membership.

According to Nerdist, Amazon tweeted that they would be taking on the sci-fi franchise on February 22. The tweet has since been removed, and we’re not sure why. The tweet read:

Want to know the future? Now you can! Here’s what’s coming to#PrimeVideo in March. #Bosch #DrWhohttps://t.co/r3rVSiZLC7

— Amazon Video (@AmazonVideo) February 22, 2016

While further investigation of their Twitter page has not turned up any new (or old) results on the matter, fans across the universe are very excited.

But we’ll keep those alternate streaming websites bookmarked. Just in case. Unfortunately, we’re still waiting for a more reliable way to catch up on all of the years of Classic Who.

One problem at a time.

The time traveling fan favourite has not begun filming its newest season yet, but Peter Capaldi is still manning the steering wheel — or at least desperately holding on to something solid while the TARDIS hurtles itself through time and space.

Last we saw our Scottish traveler, he had just been separated from his companion, Clara Oswald.

Not as sad as losing Rose … but who’s keeping score?

The BBC is still hinting at a shiny, brand new international iPlayer for all your Whovian and Sherlockian needs, but, until then, we need our fix. Thankfully, Amazon has us covered … at $99 a year.

But we only have to wait a year for new Who. Right, BBC?

…right?

While Amazon has not given us an exact launch date for their Doctor Who collection, we’re being assured it’ll be sometime in March. This could mean anything from a few weeks from now to the 31st.

What will we do if we have to wait a whole extra month to be reunited with our favourite Time Lord?

Grab your sonic, don’t blink, count the shadows, and beware the mimics.
