Now this is cool! If you thought Moffat trolled us all with references to our fanfiction dreams before, then prepare for another Moment!

The creative minds behind Doctor Who, our beloved scifi show, were so impressed with a fan-made title sequence that they’re putting it in the show! The sequence’s creator is none other than Billy Hanshaw, a graphic designer from Leeds, and a major Whovian. He uploaded the video last September, and it’s already gone viral!

The opening, swooping the viewer through the gears of a clock before the TARDIS appears and spins through a series of clock faces, already has over 700,000 views! It ends with the show’s title over the Seal of Rassilon before dissolving into the face of the Doctor.

If you’re still unconvinced of the level of awesome this video will reach, check it out below!

Doctor Who returns to our screens on Saturday, August 23rd, with Peter Capaldi’s first full debut, “Deep Breath”!
