Downton To Tomorrow: Dan Stevens To Voice Computer In CW Show

It has been recently revealed that Dan Stevens who is known for portraying Matthew Crawley in the PBS hit show Downton Abbey will be voicing the organic computer known as, TIM in the remake TV series for Tomorrow People as confirmed byEntertainment Weekly. 

 Tomorrow People was a hit  British sci-fi series in the 1970’s.  The character of TIM is a computer filled with bio-fluid.  He was built by John and who is the leader of the Tomorrow People. Tim resides in The Lab, positioned in a dated station  at the London Underground. Tim usually assists the Tomorrow People, by releasing important information which the telepaths could use in their current journey.  TIM was portrayed by Phillip Gilbert.
 
For those unfamiliar with what this series is all about it is the story that follows seven young people from different parts of the world that exhibit the next stage in human development. They carry extraordinary powers which include the power to teleport and talk with one another telepathically. With the help of each other they work to destroy the forces of evil.  
Stevens is the latest well-known actor to supply his voice to a TV show not actually appearing on screen, following behind Kristen Bell with her work on Gossip Girl, Bob Saget whom lended his voice to How I Met Your Mother, and Ron Howard contributing his voice to Arrested Development.  
 
Some other well known names that will be appearing in the series alongside Dan Stevens are  Luke Mitchell, Aaron Yoo, Peyton List, and Jason Dohring. 
 
The newly redone Tomorrow People will be airing in the US by The CW and will premiere on October 9th and the show will air in the UK on E4.
