On a recent interview with E! News, Drew Barrymore recalled her wedding and the best moments of it.
“Watching my husband give his speech to everyone was amazing. I was so in awe of his eloquence and articulation, I was super turned on, excited, proud. I had so many wonderful emotions!”
Between all the excitement at her wedding, she had a brief moment of relaxation.

She recalled: “My girlfriend and I ran into a room to quietly eat some tacos on the floor and I rook my little shoes off and my little feet were so happy to be out of those heels for a minute. [It was nice] to just take a deep breath and think about everything that I had just experienced.”
She continued: “I knew I was going right back into it but that quiet moment… You’re not really able to reflect a lot in the middle of your wedding so if you can run somewhere and take five seconds or five minutes and think about what you don’t want to miss for the rest of the night, [it’s great]. It’s kind of a pleasurable thing instead of doing it the next day when you can’t access it anymore”.
Barrymore married art consultant Will Kopelman in 2012 at their home in California. Later that year, she gave birth to their daughter Olive Barrymore Kopelman.
The couple is currently expecting their second child.
Her following project, Blended, directed by Frank Coraci and co-starring Adam Sandler, is set to be released on May 23rd.
