Having already built up a steady following on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram, as well as having been praised by the likes of AXS.com and The Source for previous singles “Fetish” and “Do Not Disturb”, PopWrapped are delighted to EXCLUSIVELY premiere Jessi Malay’s latest single “Do It” together with some behind-the-scenes images from the video shoot.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Malay is no stranger to the music scene. Having started dancing when she was young, by the age of eight she was touring the world with various performance groups then, as a teenager, she went on to front girl band No Secrets who released a hugely successful album before the group went their separate ways, leaving Malay to focus on her own career.
In 2014, Malay released her EP Give Me Life and was soon catching the attention of news and media outlets on both sides of the Atlantic.
Now an established artist in her own right, with a laid back R&B rhythm intertwined with simple but catchy pop-style lyrics, her latest release “Do It” is hard to resist tapping your feet or nodding your head along to (I dare you to try!) and makes an ideal soundtrack for anyone preparing for or enjoying an evening with their other half.
Malay also runs a fashion blogand has collaborated with a number of high profile, well established names in the industry.
