Adam Horowitz confirmed on Twitter today that the November 16 episode of Once Upon a Time will be extended to two hours...and it won't be a recap hour!

As many Oncers might admit – the more Once Upon a Time there is the better! Each season we get 22 grand and action-packed episodes. That’s quite a lot of quality programming, wouldn’t you say? While that is a good chunk of television, at the end of the day, there’s a longing for more.

This season (the 4th in the mega-hit fantasy drama) Oncers will be getting an early holiday present. There will be 23 episodes. The November 16 episode (apparently the Sweeps Episode) will be 2 hours long. It will air an hour earlier, at 7/6 PMc, and run until 9/8c. Adam Horowitz assured fans that the Winter finale will still be on 12-16-2014.

Early this morning rumors swirled all over Tumblr and Twitter about this glorious gift. Series co-creator, Horowitz, soon confirmed these speculations about “Smash the Mirror,” which will be the eighth episode in the season. He also assured fans that the 7/6c hour will not be a recap episode.
